Introducing Eclipse Community & more
The Eclipse v2.0 update brings exciting new features like our Community social space, and an extended wallet for all kinds of barcodes / QR codes for your memberships, loyalties, gift cards, and more!
We received a lot of amazing feedback and requests for new features, which we’re happy to share!
Eclipse Community
The new Eclipse Community feature is an Instagram / Reddit-style social media platform, directly on the Eclipse app. You can discuss, share, and ask about anything credit.
What makes the Eclipse Community unique, is that you can directly view the card portfolio of others. By understanding what cards influencers, friends, and the public use, you can better determine the best card for yourself.
In your profile, you can even rate and comment on your cards to tell others about them
Testing Cards
In one of our most praised features, the Card Wiki, you can learn about any credit card and all its details for hundreds of cards across the US and Canada. This helps save you hours of research.
In this update, we introduce the “Test Card” feature, which allows you to explicitly add and test a card in your Eclipse Wallet, so you can see how it might fit your spending habits!
In the future, we’re going to add analytics to your testing cards, so you can get an overview of how it performs for your daily use and help you decide whether you should get it or not.
A feature to compare credit cards is also coming soon.
Extended Wallet
Alongside credit cards, this update now supports debit cards, loyalties, memberships, gift cards, and coupons. These will also be recommended at locations which they are valid to use at.
Scan and add any barcode / QR code, so you never have to lose a thing again.
